PROJECT SCHEDULE
Schedule graphic of the Environmental Study of the intersection at Bangerter Highway and 4700 South.
Construction Schedule for Bangerter Highway at 4700 South.

PHASE 1: JORDAN VALLEY AQUEDUCT RELOCATION
(July 2023 – Spring 2024)

The first phase of this work focused on relocating the existing Jordan Valley Aqueduct (JVA), which currently runs north to south, just to the east of Bangerter Highway. The JVA is part of key water infrastructure in the area that helps Jordan Valley Water provide clean drinking water to more than 500,000 people in Utah. The JVA has been shifted further east to accommodate construction of the new interchange.

PHASE 2: INTERCHANGE CONSTRUCTION
(Spring 2024 – Fall 2025)

Now that the JVA has been relocated, the second phase of this work will focus on the conversion of the existing Bangerter Highway and 4700 South intersection from a Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) to a Single-Point Urban Interchange (SPUI) with Bangerter Highway going under 4700 South.
